The leather is genuine Horween leather, tanned by Horween Leather Company in Chicago. It is a single strap with a buckle, in brown. Like most vegetable-tanned leather, it will darken and soften where it creases as you wear it, so the belt looks better after a few months than it does on the first day.
Care is simple. Keep it dry when you can, and let it air dry away from heat if it does get wet. Wipe off dirt with a dry cloth. A small amount of leather conditioner once or twice a year is enough to keep the strap from drying out. Hang it or lay it flat rather than folding it.
On sizing, measure a belt you already own from the buckle fold to the hole you use most, and order the size closest to that number.
