These are American made shorts, cut and sewn in our family-owned factory in Chicago. The collection includes chino shorts in olive, navy and grey, chambray shorts, hemp shorts, and tailored technical shorts in black and navy. Each pair is designed, cut, sewn, washed, finished and shipped from Chicago, IL USA.
The fabrics change with the style. The tailored technical shorts use a 2-way stretch twill at 8.5oz, 64% polyester, 34% cotton and 2% elastane, brushed for a soft hand from imported fabric. A second technical fabric uses fine nylon yarns woven tightly for a smooth hand and 4-way stretch, and it is abrasion resistant while staying light. The chambray and hemp shorts are lighter, warm-weather cloth.
The fit on the technical shorts is based on our tailored fit jean measurements, sleek through the thighs, with a medium rise and a 7 inch length. Details across the collection include two front pockets, belt loops, welted rear pockets, custom wood buttons, a branded Italian button and a YKK America zipper.
