Incredible Fit!
These jeans are excellent! I was excited to get them as they had been recommended to me by my son. When they came I was excited to see the color and texture of the jeans. Not something you see on the rack that's for sure. I put them on and the legs and rear fit perfectly. When I pulled the high wasted pants up (I'm actually pretty short wasted) I was worried when the gap was too wide at my waist- I thought they weren't going to close. I started to take them off but decided to try closing them just to see... As soon as I pulled the button toward the hole the fabric stretched perfectly to fit my body. No pain in bending and perfectly comfortable.The fabric is stiff like old-school jeans but has the play of modern stretch denim. Classy and very well-made. I will definitely buy another pair at some point and am interested in looking into some of the other styles that are available. Oh, and I got one of the cool zip bags they make with the star on it. New favorite jean for the Jean aficionados
I was excited yet skeptical of this cute jean not only made in the USA but in Chicago?!? Could it be true?? I only buy premium denim and have quite a collection but have become disenchanted with the high price and more manufacturing going overseas with no decrease in price to consumer.... for less than $60 I figured it was worth a try and I couldn't be happier! The reviews were spot on .... high quality and great fit... thinner denim with just the right stretch and holds their shape after a full day and first wash so I expect they will wear well and be one of my favorites.... Super Tall
My cousins and I received gift cards here for Christmas last year. All of us being super tall (I'm the shortest and 5'11") these jeans were awesome because they tailored the fit to us. I haven't had much experience with this type of waist size so I am not sure the accuracy of that, but they fit me well. Melissa
good quality, fit, and price
I went back to Dearborn Denim after buying a couple of pairs of Madewell jeans and although these are a little stiff, they fit better and cost less. While not recommended in the care instructions, I do put them in the dryer to soften them up and tighten them up a bit. Gotta love local! Elizabeth S.

I've been known to be a bit of a denim snob. But mostly because I'm a tough fit. When I saw the price I was apprehensive because I haven't found a pair of jeans that fit me right that didn't cost $200. But they're amazing. I love the way they look, they're super comfy, locally made, and totally affordable. The sizing can be a bit funny, so try on multiple pairs until you find the perfect fit. I like the inconsistency in the sizing, though, because there's always one that fits just right. These are my new staple and I wear ‘em every day! Jenn R.
Perfect jeans
These jeans are delightful. I purchased a pair of high rise blue jeans about a year and a half ago and they quickly became my go-to jeans. When my office dress code recently changed, I needed to make my jean game more robust. These lived up to my expectations and have already been worn multiple times. I just bought a second pair of Dearborn jeans because I loved my first pair so much. Be prepared to try on multiple pairs of jeans, even of the same size, since each pair is slightly different. I really like the stretch of the fabric as well as the waist height, and I love that they are hemmed at exactly the length you specify. For $60 a pair for clothing made locally, it's a steal. Long enough for this tall lady!
I love Dearborn Denim! The denim is tough and holds me in but provides enough stretch to be comfy. Plus, my long legs have limited my denim selection to a few brands that are unexciting. These jeans are the first that are so long I can cuff them! I am 5'10" and have very long legs, and ordered these in the longest inseam. Perfection! Thanks for the wide variety of sizing, DD! Great for work or play
This is my third pair of Dearborn denim pants, and I love them. The fabric of the black denim isn't as stretchy as the regular denim, so the fit is a little more snug. I love that these pants don't necessarily look like denim, so they can pass as work/dress pants. Liz

Love the color and fit!
These jeans are great! I already own the dark rinse and black high rise skinnies, and these are a little stretchier and more lightweight (perfect for California weather). I also really love the color; the photos don't quite do it justice, but it's a great medium-light blue with a bit of brownish undertones. And best of all, they don't get baggy at the end of the day, so you don't have to get them skintight if you want a more relaxed look! Favorite Jeans
I love these jeans! They have the perfect amount of stretch, and I love the design. They have a tiny bit of waist gaping for me, but otherwise they're a great waist height and I love the broad selection in lengths available. I also love that they're made in the Midwest. Custom, comfy and affordable
These fit great. I tried the 30's and the overall fit was perfect but the waist was just barely too small. Going up to the 31's was perfect in the waist but gave more overall room--a little less snug than I normally wear. But still comfy and look great. I'm 5'11" with 35" inseam and wear a size 6. I rarely find jeans that are the perfect length as well as perfect fit... Dearborn denim was the answer!!! A "jeans" girl...
Yes...I have a closet full of jeans. Dearborn jeans are my absolute favorites!!! I am now the proud owner of 3 pairs. The fit is fabulous! The fabric is perfect, not too tight, just the right amount of stretch. I am able to wear them several times before feeling a need to wash them...they don't bag and sag. I particularly like the dark wash. And, get this, they come with a raw hem. Dearborn will hem to your specifications!!!! My customer service at their location in Hyde Park was wonderful!!! My favorite jeans!
I tried these jeans because they are made in Chicago, but I adore them because they are high quality great fitting jeans. They were easy to order and were at my door amazingly fast. The fabric has just the perfect give to fit like a glove. The cut is very flattering and comfortable. They came through the wash fitting perfectly again. I did not have to contort myself to get into them. Finally a jeans shopping experience that makes you smile. Being petite, and not so young ?, it's almost impossible to find jeans that fit, and then, of course, the added cost for alterations. No more! Dearborn denim's jeans fit beautifully. They hug your behind without producing that ugly, unwanted gap in the rear. Length is no issue as alterations are free. Happily surprised!
Really like the cut and they come and stay true to size. I washed mine 3x before this review. Not a fan of poly but it helps with stretch to maintain shape. There is no give in the waist line. I tried a bigger size but the waist band Size didn't seen to change it was too small. If the waist band had a little wiggle room the jeans would have been Desiree W.

I love the idea of USA made jeans and supporting small businesses. But mail order jeans are always a role of the dice for me because I am very high waisted. Unfortunately, the jeans did not work for me, but the customer service was fantastic. I tried an exchange and the new jeans showed up just as I was mailing back the first 2 pairs. Then, when the second 2 pairs didn't work, the return was easy and the money was credited to my account just a couple of days later. I wish the jeans had worked because they are very well made. FINALLY!!!
Somebody finally got around to using hefty "men's" denim for women's jeans: Hallelujah! These jeans are the missing link in my jean wardrobe. I have numerous pairs of skinny jeans in different washes and colors, including high waisted skinnies from Dearborn Denim, which I love. They are all great for spring, summer and fall, but not for Wisconsin Winter. These will fit the bill nicely. I am 5'9, 147 lbs. (but have long legs.) I wear size 8 -10, and bought 30/33 in the DD skinnies. I followed the advice of another reviewer and ordered 31/33 in this model and they are perfect. I do not agree that they make the wearer look grumpy, just a little less sleek than the skinny jeans. I'll take warmth and cosy cottony softness over sleek most days, so I bought two pair. Linda

I normally buy a 30 waist in DD jeans, but because these jeans are 100% cotton (no spandex), I went up to a 31 waist and they fit perfectly. I wanted jeans like the guys always seem to get: all cotton, durable, and affordable, but in a lighter weight for warmer weather. These fit and look exactly as shown in the photo, if a little baggier; I think I could have sized down one size from my usual Dearborn skinny-jean size, but also wanted a slightly looser fit, so it's fine. I ordered these jeans a size up because they're 100% cotton and won't stretch. Well, the cut is very forgiving of my curvy thighs and the waist, while a bit loose, is narrow enough not to fall down to my butt crack!
