This pair is for anyone who wants a close fit without a skinny leg. The Tailored Fit sits slim through the seat and thigh, then tapers below the knee, so it works with boots or low-profile sneakers.
The denim is 10oz, 98% cotton and 2% spandex. The rise is medium. The Scout wash is a specialty wash, and it will fade over the first few months depending on how you wash them. Details include a Horween leather patch, a YKK zipper and a gold leaf button. Every pair is cut and sewn at our family-owned factory in Chicago.
Machine wash cold, inside out
Tumble dry low or hang dry to keep the fade slow
Wash less often to hold the color longer
Sizing: Order your usual waist measurement. The spandex gives the denim some give, so if you are between sizes and want a closer fit, take the smaller waist. We hem to your length for free before the jeans ship, so pick the inseam you actually wear rather than rolling the cuff.

Sadly there is a serious problem with quality control and customer service. I’ve been a long time customer, ordering multiple 100% cotton tailored fit jeans since their inception. I ordered four colors of this new canvas fabric, in size 31/31. The wheat color fit as I would expect. The other three sizes varied significantly. The scout felt like a 30/32 with straight legs instead of tailored. I immediately addressed the fit and sizing with their AI service agent at [****] and two more follow ups plus an email to [****]. No response from anyone.
