It is for the stretch of the year when a long sleeve shirt is too much. Wear it open over a tee or buttoned on its own, tucked or untucked.
The fit is slightly fitted through the body, with short sleeves and one chest pocket on the left with a button closure. The fabric is stone washed chambray, 6.5 oz, 100% cotton, so it arrives soft instead of stiff and keeps a little weight to it. Buttons are Italian. The fabric is imported; the shirt is cut and sewn here in Chicago.
Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Cotton chambray will shrink slightly the first time through the dryer, and stone washed fabric holds its color well from the start. Iron on medium if you want the collar sharp.
Our model is 6 foot 1 inch, 198 lbs, and wears a size Large_44. If you are between sizes, or you like room through the chest and shoulders, take the larger one. The slightly fitted cut is trimmer than a standard boxy work shirt. Size charts for this shirt are on the product page, and returns are open for 30 days if the fit is not right.
