For anyone who wants a belt that outlasts the department store version. It fits Dearborn Denim belt loops and works with jeans, chinos and shorts.
The strap is 1 3/8" wide. The leather is bull hide, tanned at the Horween Leather Co. in Chicago, and it is soft to the touch with real heft in the hand. The buckle is solid brass with an antique brass finish. Expect the leather to soften and stretch a little as you wear it, about one notch over time, and to age well as it does.
Care: Keep it dry when you can. Wipe off dirt with a dry or barely damp cloth and let it air dry away from heat. Condition the leather occasionally to keep it supple.
Sizing: Order the same size belt as your Dearborn Denim jeans. If you are between sizes, keep in mind the leather will give about one notch with wear, so sizing down is the safer choice.

Nice leather belt. I just wish it had snaps or screws to hold on the buckle so you can change it. I ground off the rivets so I could change the buckle.

I like the belt. this is the right size for me with a pair of 36 waist jeans.

Leather is a bit stiff. Not skived on the edges, so it has a bit of a sharp edge. Buckle squeaks. You should work harden the bearing surfaces before assy to alleviate that.
