The fabric is 100% cotton three thread fleece at 820 GSM, which is heavier than most sweatshirts you will find. Three thread knit construction makes it warmer and more durable than a standard fleece, and reviewers most often mention the thickness.
Care: this sweatshirt has not been preshrunk. It will shrink on the first wash and dry cycle, so plan for that before you wash it. After the first cycle, wash and dry as usual.
Sizing: take the shrinkage into account when you choose a size. If you are between sizes, or if you want the sleeves and body to stay long after the first dry, go with the larger size.
