For anyone who wants one sweatshirt to carry them through fall and winter. It is a casual piece, warm enough to wear on its own on cold days and roomy enough to layer over a shirt.
The cut is classic collegiate: room through the chest, with a gathered waist and gathered cuffs that hold their shape. The fabric is 100% cotton three thread fleece at 820 GSM, which is heavier than most sweatshirts you will find. Three thread knit construction makes it warmer and more durable than the standard two thread fleece used on most sweats. The sweatshirt is cut and sewn here in Chicago.
Care: this sweatshirt has not been preshrunk. It will shrink on the first wash and dry cycle. If you want to limit shrinkage, wash cold and hang dry.
Sizing: because of the shrinkage, size up if you are between sizes or if you want a looser fit through the body and sleeves. If you like a closer fit after a hot wash, take your usual size.

The sweatshirt ran extremely small as opposed to the hoodie which is a nice relaxed fit. Unfortunately, the next size up (XXL) was not available. "Great sweatshirt. Great price. I couldn�t be more happy with this sweatshirt. It�s super soft and super cozy. I ordered both a small and medium just to be safe as in general I can fit into both depending (for reference I�m 5�9� and 140lbs and have a slim build). The small fit me nicely with room to spare. I didn�t even have to try on the medium. I haven�t washed it yet, but it is not pre-shrunk, so it will shrink depending on how you wash it and how you want it to fit. It does stretch out a bit when you wear it but not too much. I plan on washing it in cold water and drying it on the clothes line at first to see how much it will shrink, but I think even if I put it in the dryer I would be ok. Returning the medium was super easy. Dearborn Denim sent me a return label for the medium and sent out a grey sweatshirt in small the following day as a replacement. I highly recommend this sweatshirt and Dearborn Denim. I�m looking forward to purchasing more items from such a great company."
