"The reason people have legs"

"Locomotion? Hell no, the reason people have legs is to slide them into these slick land cucumbers. Literally the best pants planet earth has ever created 11/10, would recommend over the miracle of life any day."

"Great fit, super comfortable."

"Bought a second pair immediately. These went right into the rotation. Shopping local is great, especially when the product exceeds expectations."

We appreciate the local support!

"The better "tailored fit" for athletic body type"

"I'm a fan of DB's tailored fit, but the commuter fit is much closer to how I imagine a "tailored fit". On my athletic build (tall, lanky cyclist with large thighs and longer inseam than waist circ), the tailored cut fits more like slim/skinny jeans with just enough room not to look like sausage links at the butcher. I like that fit, but I have to be careful about what boxers/briefs I wear to avoid seeing the seam lines. The commuter fit solves that without going too far toward a straight leg or regular fit. Its a true taper with room to move without stretch while never feeling like its draping off the body. The seam lines are a little odd, articulating the denim on each side of the knee joint to improve fit with bent legs, but not visually noticeable on the black wash.

Ultimately these would be a great option for someone with an athletic butt and thighs to wear to work or even commute a few miles each way on a bike or scooter. I've worn them on a motorcycle, and the cut is good for that, but I'd prefer a pant with additional reinforcement panels for any kind of consistent on-road use.
So "commuter"? Not so much. Athletic Taper? Definitely.

Dearborn... if you ever wanted to collab with Klim or Revit to make a pair of motorcycle jeans that actually fit well AND include CE II Armor and kevlar, I'd be one very happy man."
