Long Ryder is our line of raw denim jeans made in the USA, cut and sewn in our family-owned factory in Chicago. There are two models in the collection, both boot cut.
The denim is unwashed, so it starts stiff and breaks in to the shape of the person wearing it. Each pair carries a Horween leather patch and a YKK zipper.
Model 1 — a very roomy fit with a belly button high waist, designed for full range of motion through an active work day.
Model 2 — a more traditional cowboy fit, with a normal rise and a slightly more fitted cut than the Model 1.
Both are boot cut through the leg, so they sit over a boot without bunching. If you are between the two, the Model 1 gives you more room to move and the Model 2 sits closer to the body.
We hem every pair to your length before it ships, at no charge, so you can pick your inseam instead of settling for the closest number. Most orders leave the factory within one business day; allow two to three business days. Returns are accepted within 30 days.
Raw denim is unwashed and rigid when you get it. It softens and shapes to you as you wear it.
What is the difference between the Model 1 and the Model 2?

What is the denim made of?
Both models use 100% cotton rigid heavyweight denim.
Do you hem the jeans to my length?
Yes. We hem every pair to the inseam you choose before it ships, and there is no charge for it.
Where are these jeans made?
They are cut and sewn in our family-owned factory in Chicago.
How should I wash raw denim?
Wash the jeans cold and hang them to dry to limit shrinkage and keep the color. Many people wait several wears before the first wash so the denim creases to their body.
