Made in Chicago—WBBM Newsradio Talks with Robert McMillan

We just celebrated eight years on Chicago’s West Side! In a recent interview with WBBM Newsradio, our founder, Robert McMillan, spoke about what these years have meant to us as a business rooted in local manufacturing.

Our West Side factory allows us to handle every part of production ourselves, from cutting denim to sewing and finishing. By keeping it all under one roof, we ensure that our jeans and apparel not only meet our quality standards but also support American jobs and a return to locally-made apparel. As Robert shared, the U.S. once produced over 25% of its own clothing—a figure that has dropped to under 2% today. We’re working to change that, bringing high-quality, American-made denim back to people who value craftsmanship and sustainability.

This eight-year milestone reflects the support of customers who believe in our mission. Thank you for being a part of this journey as we continue to grow and stay true to our roots.
